Covid-19 Policy

On 3 December, 2021 New Zealand moves to the COVID-19 Protection Framework, also known as the traffic lights. Here is how we will operate under the new framework and what it means for you.

We’ll maintain our usual high standard of cleaning and hygiene in our salons and have masks and hand sanitiser available if you need them. Keeping everyone safe and Covid-free is the aim.

What’s changing?

  • All our staff must be vaccinated
  • Vaccination certificates are required for all clients
  • Masks are required for staff and recommended for clients

When you visit:

  • Sign or scan in using the Covid-19 tracer app
  • Show your ‘My Vaccine Pass’ on arrival
  • Sanitise your hands
  • Try to social distance if you can

Feeling unwell. If you’re feeling unwell please stay at home and call us to cancel your appointment (ideally at least 24 hours before), this protects everyone.

Masks. Staff will be wearing masks and we encourage clients to too. We have disposable masks available for you.

BYO refreshments. We can’t offer a beverage service, but you’re welcome to bring your own when you come.

BYO reading. Magazines are also a no-go, but you can bring in your own magazine, book or kindle. If you have a library card, you can access almost any magazine free through the RBdigital app.

Contactless payment. We’ll continue to provide contactless payment.

At Calibre we have always had a high standard of cleaning and hygiene in the salon. With Covid19 we will be extending these procedures to keep everyone safe when our salons are operating under the Traffic Light System.

Surface cleaning. All surfaces will be wiped down between clients and all capes and towels washed after each client (usual practice). All staff will be washing/hand sanitising their hands between clients.

Capes & Equipment. All capes and towels are washed after each client (usual practice). All equipment is cleaned between clients.

What we need you to do:

Arrival Time. Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes early to allow time to fill in the track and trace form.

Late arrival. Please note that if you are late for your appointment, your appointment may not take place due to the strict COVID restrictions.
