Covid-19 Hygiene Policy

At Calibre salon we have always had a high standard of cleaning and hygiene in the salon and during Covid19 we will be extending these procedures to keep both you and ourselves safe during this time.

What we are doing:

Surface cleaning. All surfaces will be wiped down between clients and all capes and towels washed after each client (usual practice). All staff will be washing/hand sanitising their hands between clients.

Capes & Equipment. All capes and towels washed after each client (usual practice). All equipment cleaned between clients.

Contact tracing. Clients will complete a track and trace form online to ensure we have good records of everyone in contact with staff and clients when in the salon.   This allows us to have up to have an up to record in case anyone needs to be contacted at a later date.

Contactless payment. Once our provider has activated the system we will be up and running with contactless payment

Masks. Staff are likely to be wearing masks, and we will also have disposable masks available for clients if you would like to wear one during your appointment.

BYO refreshments. We’ll temporarily stop our beverage service, so please bring in your own water, coffee or tea when you come.

BYO reading. Magazines are also a no-go for now, but you can bring in your own magazine, book or kindle. If you have a library card, you can access almost any magazine free through the RBdigital app.

 

What we need you to do:

Feeling unwell. If you are feeling unwell please stay at home, this protects us and any other client that may be in the salon

On Arrival. Please use the hand sanitiser provided at the reception and log in using the track and trace QR code provided

Arrival Time. Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes early to allow time to fill in the track and trace form.

Late arrival. Please note that if you are late for your appointment, your appointment may not take place due to the strict COVID 10 restrictions.

Download the app.

In the app choose your country.

Select your library (this is where you have a library card from i.e. Porirua City, Wellington City Libraries, or HUTT City).

Then enter your details including your library card number.

Once you’re in, click on the three lines on the top left and select magazines.

You should now be able to check out magazines from the list.
